Who we are

Meet the team

JR Revell is a young and fast-growing company headed up by Jamie Revell.

Established in 2012, our team includes full-time electrical engineers as well as specialist contractors and friendly office staff (give us a call!). Here’s some of the team you might see driving our vehicles around Essex and London:

Jamie Revell

Managing Director

MD Jamie is a qualified electrician who manages the team and liaises with clients, but he’s still hands-on when he needs to be. It’s easy to spot Jamie on-site – he’s the one barking orders to make sure things are done right.

Amanda Huntingford

Office Manager

After seven years of working with Amanda as a client we persuaded her to join the team; she understands what’s important to us and is fantastic with people. She brings a wealth of experience within the building industry as well as the hospitality industry. She's in charge of the office and enjoys looking after the JR Revell team in her own special way.

James King

Contracts Manager

James is our procedures and protocols man, he loves a bit of compliance. He keeps the team on the straight and narrow with his methodical and calm manner. You can also find James visiting his many friends and ex-colleagues within the industry selling the JR Revell brand, (that's when he is not winding Amanda up in the office).

Bryan Stanford

Project Manager

Bryan is our NICEIC-qualified Supervisor and he’s responsible for signing-off all our electrical certification. He worked for many years as lead electrician on some major London projects and now brings his expertise to our team. Bryan leads on our large contracts, looking after everything from design and planning to completion.

Stuart Hall

Technical Manager

When we have a question, we ask Stuart – he’s our details guy (always reads the manuals). He leads on technical design as well as installing fire alarms. Stuart has impressive knowledge about electrical, fire and security systems and he’s a certified Paxton engineer.

Emmanuel Odong

CAD Design Manager

Emmanuel joined us and at 6’5” he is quite a presence around the place, that and his two degrees. He is design crazy and loves nothing more than a complex project to get stuck into, the drawings are always spot on and our engineers find them easy to read which is a bonus.

Ronnie Baker

Electrical Site Supervisor

Jamie’s right-hand man, Ronnie has been with the company since he was 16. He is very experienced and knowledgeable with a can-do vibe. Ronnie runs several of our projects and looks after the team.

Jack Marlow

Electrician

Jack's Mr Testing. He joined us after retraining as an electrician and has since gone on to achieve his 2391 Electrical Inspection and Testing. He is a fully fledged JR Revell team member and loves what he does.

Electricians

What do you call a group of Electricians?
We have heard it called a Shock of Electricians - It's always a shock to see more than two together.
We prefer a bond of Electricians as electricians always stick together.
Within our young, bright team of electricians we have several and yes they do stick together, working well individually for an electrical inspection and testing job or as a team on big solar installations. They are even quite good at wiring a plug, just don't ask them to change a light bulb… they will tell you it's called a "lamp" the guys have a wide range of experience, and love what they do.

Apprentices

Here at JR Revell we love our industry and apprentices are our future, so we invest in them. It is a great way for our engineers to share their knowledge and experience whilst the young wannabe bright sparks learn at college. All the team enjoy seeing them develop their skill set and grow as individuals.

Our values

We’ll go the extra mile

We’re not a massive company … which means we work harder. You’ll benefit from our dynamic work ethic and problem-solving approach.

We’ll never let you down

Our experienced team is reliable and we’ve built a network of specialist contractors who share our ethos. We value our client relationships.

We’ll take a load off

We’re here to solve your problems, not create new ones – our mechanical and electrical engineers aren’t chosen just for their expertise (which helps); they’re nice people, too.
